This cultural and multi-use space is a social project done with and for the community. It has been designed in close collaboration with the residents of the neighborhood in order to create a gathering space which facilitates the exchange of ideas, creative workshops and concerts. Situated on the Cerro Miraflores in the center of Valparaiso, the building is a combination of new and reused materials. 

While two containers constitute the base, relating to the city’s harbour history, the top floor structure is made up of steel profiles, resolving into a light composition of polycarbonate panels and glass. The containers are linked by a wooden floor, sitting on a steel structure which creates the central and open space, while the mezzanine provides secondary spaces for creative activities.
